Local Advantages

Anqing is located at the border of Anhui Province, Hubei Province and Jiangxi Province and on the north bank in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is a famous port city and one of 27 cities in the central area of the Yangtze River Delta. Occupying the center of intersection of Poyang Lake Economic Circle, Wuhan Economic Circle, Nanjing Metropolitan Area and Hefei Economic Circle, it is deeply incorporated into the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.There are two national development zones of Anqing Economic Development Zone and Tongcheng Economic Zone, 1 national high-tech zone (chemical industrial park) and 10 provincial economic and technological development zones. Moreover, there five “national” openness platforms, including Anqing Comprehensive Bonded Zone, National Cross-border E-commerce Retail Import Pilot City, National Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, National Import Food Appointed Supervision Site and Automobile import Port.

产业基础

安庆市具有雄厚的工业基础，是全国重要的石油化工基地、国家级汽车零部件高新技术特色产业基地、中部地区加工贸易梯度转移重点承接地、安徽省战略性新兴产业基地。近年来，安庆大力构建以汽车及零部件、化工新材料、智能装备、生物医药和县域特色产业协同发展的产业体系。化工新材料等10个首位产业营收突破百亿元，工业首位产业占规上工业比重突破50%。

Industrial Foundation

Anqing City possesses a strong industrial base. It is a national important petrochemical engineering base, a national high-tech characteristic industrial base of automobile parts, a key gradient migration and undertaking base of processing trade from Central China, and a strategic emerging industrial base of Anhui Province. Recently, Anqing has been devoting to the establishment of an industrial system with coordinated development of automobiles and parts, new chemical materials, intelligent devices, biological medicine and county-level characteristic industries. The revenues of ten primary industries including new chemical materials exceeded 10 billion yuan and the proportion of primary industry in industries above the designed size exceeds 50%.

发展方向

以安庆经开区为核心，围绕汽车及高端装备制造板块，聚集江淮汽车、振宜汽车、福田雷萨等整车企业，以及环新、福莱克斯等配套企业，整车产量年产超20万辆，“十四五”规划产能将达到80万辆，极大提升安徽汽车产业“第三极”综合实力；以安庆高新区为主体，依托安庆中石化资源优势，聚集飞凯、艾坚蒙、会通新材料、兴达等一批优质企业，做大做强电子化学品、新材料、精细化工产业板块；以安庆“双生谷”为新赛道，依托安庆生态康养资源，医工医药产业支撑以及该领域安庆籍权威专家、行业翘楚的科研资源，加快生物药、化学药、现代中医药、医疗器械、医疗耗材等细分产业集群发展；以县域开发区为着力点，推动功能膜及塑料刷业、纺织服装、绿色食品、新一代信息技术和节能环保等产业持续发展。

Future Direction

Centered at Anqing Economic Development Zone, with respect to automobile and high-end equipment manufacturing industry, complete automobile enterprises like JAC Automobile, Zhengyi Automobile and LOXA as well as supporting enterprises like ARN Group and Flex are settled. The annual output of finished automobiles exceeds 200 000 vehicles and the production capacity in the “14th Five-year Plan” will reach 800 000 vehicles, which will improve the comprehensive strength of “Triode” of Anhui Automobile Industry significantly. Based on advantages of Anqing Sinopec resources in Anqing High-tech Zone, a group of high-quality enterprises have been attracted, including Feikai, Aijianmeng, Huitong New Material, Xingda, etc., to further develop electronic chemicals, new materials and refined chemical engineering industries. Based on the ecological well-being resources in “Twin Valley”, medical professional and medical industry supports and local authoritative experts, outstanding scientific research resources, Anqing will accelerate clustering development of refined industries, including biological medicines, chemical drugs, modern traditional Chinese medicine, medical equipments, medical consumables, and so on. Based on county-level development zones, Anqing will promote sustainable developments of many industries, such as functional film and plastic brush industry, textile and clothing industry, green foods, new generation of information technology, energy-saving and environmental protection, etc.
